My experience with this capstone project was one that was very eye opening and definitely one to remember forever. I had no idea how hard it was to open, clean, and maintain a pool. Having to do it myself was definitely difficult. My mom had made it seem so easy. I’m going to be honest though, I actually have helped my mom tremendously with the pool over the years, so I wasn’t completely clueless on how to start this project. When we first moved into our house, the pool was a chlorine pool and that was way harder to maintain. We switched it to a salt water pool and there’s not as many steps to open it. I discovered that salt water is much better for your skin, hair, and nails. This isn’t the only thing I’ve learned though, there are a lot of technical things that go into the process of opening my pool. This was probably the hardest part for me. Once I got down the technical things, the rest was easy. I am so happy that I took up this project. All of the hard labor I put into it definitely made my end of the summer pool party worth it. Because that night was probably one of the best nights of my life. So I’d say this project was quite the process but the end result was one to put in the memory books.
