I am going to be interviewing my mentor, which is my mom. Are you happy that we moved into a house with a pool? "Yes, even though it was a very hard decision due to the safety factors and having the responsibility of making sure no one drowns, we have enjoyed it very much." Is the cost of the pool worth it? "At first, when we had a chlorine pool, the cost of cleaning supplies was very astronomical. The amount of time and money that we spent made having a pool questionable. After researching better options for our pool, transitioning our pool to a salt water system was the way to go. This became much more affordable and with less upkeep. "
Where do you buy the pool supplies from? "We buy all of our cleaning supplies from Leslie's Pool Supplies on Bethel Road. They are very affordable." Is there anything you would like to change about the pool? "I wish our pool was bigger and deeper, so I wouldn't have to worry so much about kids hitting their heads on the bottom of the pool." What are your feelings on a chlorine pool versus a salt water pool? "After much research, I found that sanitary factor is the same percentage amount with a chlorine pool versus a salt water pool. The only two major differences between the pools is cost and maintenance time. My personal opinion is that the salt water pool is much better than a chlorine pool."
